7.1 Support The recommended way to obtain any support related to the software and print quality is to use the link under 3DGence but- ton in the top left corner of the software window. The producer guarantees the highest possible quality of models produced with the dedicated software and materials.
7.3 Software update 3DGence Slicer software updates should be installed manually, using the installer file available on the producers website. With the enabled automatic updates of the print profiles, the software checks for any new version upon each boot-up. On the same station, several software versions may be installed simultaneously with no adverse effects.
By default, the 3DGence INDUSTRY F340 printer is fitted with one STANDARD printing module. This is a module adapted for printing using ABS and HIPS materials. The modular structure of the system allows users to take advantage of other modules, including HIGH-TEMP or ECO.
CAUTION: the module must not be installed or removed from the device while the power is on! It may result in damage to the printer. Fig. 37. Schematic diagram of the printing module. 74 | 3DGence INDUSTRY F340 3DGence INDUSTRY F340 | 74...

The 3DGence INDUSTRY printer is fitted with advanced autocalibration algorithm and bed autocompensation. To provide a proper autocompensation operation it is necessary to perform table scanning. Below we described the principle of operation for the procedure.
2.1. Precision axes alignment The 3DGence INDUSTRY F340 printer, as one of the few, is fitted with a unique system for high precision dimensional cor- rection of the printed model. The device is factory calibrated for ABS printing material at an accuracy of 0.1 mm. During printing by using materials with different thermal shrinkage it maybe necessary to perform a dimensional correction.
Page 78
4. By pressing the keys + and – for each box (Original X, Original Y, Print X and Print Y) enter an appropriate value. Once the input- ting is completed, press the Save button. Thanks to this procedure, the next print from the already calibrated material will be performed with a material shrinkage com- pensation in axes X and Y. 78 | 3DGence INDUSTRY F340...
After finishing the printing process, the user should visually inspect the printout. In case of presence of a rift between the material 1 and 2 within the X/Y axes, the offsets have to be calibrated. Even minimal rift requires adjustments due to the fact that the Industry F340 printer has a possibility to calibrate the offsets to 0.01 mm. GOOD Fig.
Page 80
The width of rafts within both axes was measured on a printed model, the result: 0,6 mm in X axis and 0.4 mm in Y axis. Complying to the axes turnaround, the user should set the offset to -0.6 mm for the X and -0.4 mm for the Y, then save the adjustment. 80 | 3DGence INDUSTRY F340...
The printer takes the measurements of tool height correction by using a force sensor. The measurement is performed with a repetition to test repeatability and the measurement accuracy. If the accuracy exceeds the tolerance (0.02 mm), then the version 1.0/07.2017 3DGence INDUSTRY F340 | 81...

– a part of the 3D printer working in the FFF technology. It is designed to feed the filament at a strictly defined rate, and consequently – quantity. The 3DGence INDUSTRY F340 printer is fitted with a Bowden type extruder. It means that extru- der motors are located beyond the moving printer parts, leading material to the head via the PTFE tubing.
Page 85
Support – is a support added by a model designer or a slicing software (3DGence Slicer) in order to form a supporting frame for the parts of the model suspended in the air. A correctly made support is not a part of a model and can be easily removed once the print is completed.
