9. How to Mount JS-960WP on the Wall and under Counter This document is an installation instruction for POS Workstation (JS-960WP) (mentioned as POS in the following) POS can be mounted in counter, table and wall by using mounting brackets which meet VESA Type’s spec. Back Left Side Operation...
Page 144
Please use drop-prevention wire and 1 pc fixing screw(M4 P0.7) to fix the wire on POS when installing the POS on a wall. For drop-prevention wire, please use stainless wire rope with nylon coating and its spec should afford net weight over 5 times of the amount of POS machine (including optional module) and mounting bracket.
Page 145
Sample of Drop-prevention wire is as follows. The strength of pull-out force of portion of caulking must be 392N (40kgf) or more. POS Main Unit has exhaust outlet (for hot air) and fresh air inlet (for cool air). If exhaust and intake air recirculated, POS internal temperature will be higher and this increases the risk of negatively affecting operation.
Page 146
Good example Install POS in area or enclosure where intake of fresh, cooler only is possible. Install POS in area or enclosure where exhaust air is expelled away from device and enclosure. Any enclosure must consist of heavily perforated material(s) and/or incorporate large vents or ducting for fresh air only intake and exhausting warmer air away from POS.
10. Cleaning Cleaning of outer case Light soil - Wipe case lightly with a dry, soft cloth. Heavy soil - Wipe case lightly with soft cloth pre-moistened with very diluted, mild detergent. Lightly wipe case dry with a dry, soft cloth. Cleaning of display Wipe display gently with a dry, soft cloth to remove light dirt and dust.
11. Capacitive Touch Screen Notice Attention for capacitive touch screen Do not touch it by finger nail, because capacitive touch screen can not recognize it. Touch it by finger tip. Do not touch it during startup. It initializes touch screen during startup. If it is touched during startup, touch screen is not initialized correctly.
