- Page 4 Swap mailing system base unit Base swap process Please read the following information carefully to complete the installation of your new base unit. 1- Preparing the Mailing System How to Prepare a New Base for Swap If it is possible to use the MENU button on the faulty base please remove your ink cartridge using the following path.
- Page 5 Remove the power cable from the rear of the base Remove other cables from the rear of the base Lift the weight platform off of the base and remove the cable. Store the platform in a safe place, it will be reconnected at the end of the process.
- Page 6 Carefully place the base unit onto its back. Open the cover as shown to locate the meter Remove the meter from the old base unit. Keep the meter in a safe place. The meter will be refitted during the swap process. Close the meter cover and place the faulty base to one side.
- Page 7 Place the new unit onto its back to access the meter cover. Open the cover and refit the meter as shown. If the cover does not close properly, the meter is not fitted correctly. 10. Turn the unit back to the upright position. Refit the weight platform by connecting the plug as shown and placing the platform back on top of the base unit.

A connection to the Neopost system must be completed to finish the swap process. To continue press OK Wait for the system to connect to the Neopost server.
