    Setting the Image Stabilizer Function The lens-shift type image stabilizer function allows you to minimize the camera shake effect (blurred images) when you shoot distant subjects that have been magnified or when you shoot in dark conditions without a flash. You can check the effect of the IS mode on image blur on the Continuous LCD monitor since the IS mode runs continually.

    Replacing the Date Battery If the Date/Time in the Set up menu appears when the camera power is turned on, the date battery charge is low and the date and time settings have been lost. Please purchase a lithium coin battery (CR1220) and replace it as follows.
