CHAPTER 1 OUTLINE CHAPTER 1 OUTLINE Function Overview SV9300 provides a procedure to migrate from an existing SV8300 to SV9300 system. The system migration is performed by converting the system data assigned to the exiting SV8300 into scripts for SV9300, including the phone number information and the setting information for service features.
CHAPTER 1 OUTLINE Required Equipment The required equipment for the migration is shown in the table below. Other equipment is available for SV9300 with a few exceptions. For details, see (12) in ‘Migration Conditions’. Page 5 Equipment Description Remarks CHS1UG(S)-xx CPU Chassis For SV9300 NOTE 1...
CHAPTER 1 OUTLINE Migration Conditions Conditions for Migration from SV8300 to SV9300 System SV8300 system can be migrated to SV9300, regardless of its software version. However, the required software version is SV8300 R7 or after, if the Voice Response System (VRS) data is stored in the CPU built-in memory (SRAM) and the VRS data needs to be migrated to SV9300.

CHAPTER 1 OUTLINE Conditions for Migration of Voice Data for the Voice Response System (VRS) from SV8300 CF Memory to SV9300 Flash ROM Memory When saving the voice data stored in a CF memory, all the Voice Response System (VRS) channels (maximum 16 channels) in the CF memory is saved (regardless whether each channel is used or not to store a message).
CHAPTER 2 MIGRATION PROCEDURE CHAPTER 2 MIGRATION PROCEDURE This chapter explains the migration procedure for SV8300 Unit Configuration and also describes the procedure to migrate the system data for System Speed Dialing (300 memories). * The Required Time indicated for each migration procedure is estimated. For Single Unit Configuration Start Open SV8300 PCPro and connect to the SV8300.

CHAPTER 2 MIGRATION PROCEDURE Migrate the voice data recorded to Voice Response System (VRS)? When the CPU built-in memory (SRAM) is Migrate specified as a memory for the VRS (CM08>896: 1), save the voice data stored in Not to migrate the SV8300 CPU built-in memory (SRAM).
Page 15
CHAPTER 2 MIGRATION PROCEDURE Set SV9300 to off-line mode and power on the system. [Required Time: About 1 minute] [Procedure to set off-line mode] (1) Set the SENSE switch on the CPU blade to “E” or “F”. (2) Push the RESET switch on the CPU blade. Convert the system data file (.syd) saved by SV8300 PCPro into Scripts (including a Scenario) by using SV9300 System Data Conversion Tool.

CHAPTER 2 MIGRATION PROCEDURE Migrate the voice data recorded to the Voice Response System (VRS)? When the CPU built-in memory (SRAM) is Migrate specified as a memory for the VRS, load the voice data saved from the SV8300 CPU Not to Migrate built-in memory onto the SV9300 CPU built-in memory (flash ROM).
CHAPTER 2 MIGRATION PROCEDURE For Multiple Unit Configuration and Remote Unit System Start Open SV8300 PCPro and connect to the SV8300 Unit 01. [Required Time: About 1 minute] From the system menu select System Data Save/Load/Verify. Then click Save and select All system data + All service memory + Registration data by MAC authentication + DBM data (SRAM) to save all system data in SV8300.

CHAPTER 2 MIGRATION PROCEDURE Open SV9300 PCPro and connect to Units 02-04 and the Remote Unit. [Required Time: About 1 minute/Unit] Perform the System data memory all clear (CM00>1:CCC) and the SRAM area all clear (CM00>02:CCC) for the Units 02-04 and the Remote Unit. [Required Time: About 5 minutes/Unit] Assign the IP address information and the Unit Number for each of the Units 01-04 and Remote Unit.
CHAPTER 2 MIGRATION PROCEDURE Procedure to Save Voice Data (CF Memory) Start Set the CPU to off-line mode. [Procedure to set off-line mode] (1) Set the SENSE switch on the CPU blade to “E” or “F”. (2) Push the RESET switch on the CPU blade. After performing the System data memory all clear for the SV8300 (CM00>1:CCC) using the SV8300 PCPro, back up the system data (CMEC Y=6>0: 0).
CHAPTER 2 MIGRATION PROCEDURE From the [System Data Save/Load/Verify] menu on the SV9300 PCPro, select System Data Area Name: “Voice data of VRS (CF Memory) for Migration” and execute the voice data save. Procedure to Load Voice Data from CPU Built-in Memory (SRAM) Start Set the CPU to off-line mode.
CHAPTER 2 MIGRATION PROCEDURE Procedure to Load Voice Data from CF Memory Start Set the CPU to off-line mode. [Procedure to set off-line mode] (1) Set the SENSE switch on the CPU blade to “E” or “F”. (2) Push the RESET switch on the CPU blade. NOTE: Be sure to set the system to off-line mode before loading the voice data.
CHAPTER 2 MIGRATION PROCEDURE To Migrate the System Data for the System Speed Dialing (300 Memories) The system data for the ‘System Speed Dialing (300 memories)’ is not migrated by the System Data Conversion Tool. To migrate the system data for the ‘System Speed Dialing (300 memories)’, follow the procedure below.
CHAPTER 2 MIGRATION PROCEDURE For Tenant-Basis Operation Start Using the Script files converted by the Office Data Conversion Tool of SV9300, confirm the following system data details assigned by the SV8300.
