Copying a Photo Here’s how to make a copy of a 4 × 6-inch photo using Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper: Open the output tray. Pinch the sides of the left edge guide together as you slide the guide all the way to the left.

Insert a sheet of 4 × 6 Premium Glossy Photo Paper against the right edge of the sheet feeder. Make sure the shiny side is up and the short edge of the paper is inserted first, as shown. Slide the left edge guide against the paper Slide the left edge guide against the paper (but not too tightly).

Open the scanner lid. Place your photo face down on the glass, in the upper left corner. Move it about 0.1 inch from the top and side edge so the entire photo is scanned.

Printing Photos from a Memory Card Here’s how to print 4 × 6-inch photos on Premium Glossy Photo Paper directly from your digital camera’s memory card. First you need to load plain paper and insert your memory card. Then you’ll print and scan an index sheet to select the photos you want to print.

Note: Leave your memory card in the memory card slot so that you can print from it. Look at the printed index. Choose the photo or photos you want to print. On the index, use a dark pen to fill in the oval under each photo you want to print.

If you have faded photos or negatives, you can bring them back to life using the Color Restoration setting in your scanner software. You can select this setting in Smart Panel or EPSON Scan. In Smart Panel, click the Color Restoration turns blue.
