ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION Before proceeding with electrical installation, install the dryer's coin-metering system (when used)in accordance with the separate instructions provided with the meter. /ILL ELECTR/CDryers The following are specific requirements for proper and safe electrical installation to follow these instructions can create electrical shock and/ or a fire hazard. - Page 8 ELECTRICALCONNECTIONS FOR 3-WIRE SYSTEM ELECTR/CDryer 1. NOTE: DO NOTconnect the dryer to L.R gas service without converting the gas valve. An L.R conversion kit must be installed by a qualified gas technician. Connect a 1/2 inch (1.27 cm)I.D, semi-rigid or approved pipe from gas supply line to the 3/8 inch (0.96 cm) pipe located on the back of the dryer.
