Cleaning the Power Nozzle
Check the areas marked in the illustrations and
remove any debris.
Cut off any hair, thread, string, carpet pile, and
lint entangled around agitator with a pair of
scissors.
Cleaning Agitator

To remove the agitator cover and agitator:
① T urn the latch located on the agitator cover
to the unlock position.
② P ress the shutter down.
Remove agitator cover.
③ P ress the shutter down.
Lift the agitator end cap out.
④Remove agitator.
⑤Remove belt.

Remove any dirt or debris in the belt path and
agitator areas.
To install agitator cover and agitator:
①Reinstall belt onto belt pulley.
②Reinstall agitator into nozzle as shown.
③Press agitator end cap into place in nozzle.
④ P ress the shutter down.
Fit the tip of the agitator cover by hooking
the claw.
⑤ P lace the agitator cover onto nozzle and
secure by rotating the latch to the LOCK
position.
