If ﬂammable solvents come in contact with electrical components inside the printer, it could cause a ﬁre or electric shock. Always unplug the printer from the power outlet before cleaning the printer. If you do not unplug the printer before cleaning it, you could injure yourself or damage the printer.

Maintaining the printer Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the printer. There are no user serviceable parts inside the printer. The printer contains high-voltage components. Never attempt any maintenance procedure not described in this guide. Working around the printer Do not use inﬂammable sprays near the printer.

To avoid the risk of ﬁre or electric shocks, install the printer in a location with an ambient temperature range of 41°F to 95°F (5°C to 35°C) and humidity of 10% to 90% (condensation free).

Never remove the plug by pulling on the power cord. Do not use an extension lead. If you do not intend to use the printer for a long period of time, unplug the printer. Never use a power supply voltage other than that supplied in the country of purchase.
Page 13 Regularly unplug the printer, and clean the plug itself and around the plug to remove accumulated dust. If you leave the printer connected to the power plug for a long time in a place subject to much dust, hummidity or greasy fumes, dust accumulated around the power supply takes up moisture to cause insufﬁcient insulation, then a ﬁre.

Also, to cancel printing in progress, press this button. This printer does not have a Power switch. Warming up starts as soon as it is plugged in. Unless unplugged, the printer will remain ready to print with a very low level of power consumption.
