Outdoor Unit Select the Best Location If an awning is built over the unit to prevent direct sunlight or rain, be careful that heat radiation from the condenser is not obstructed. Avoid installations in areas where the ambient temperature may drop below -20˚C for UD models and -28˚C for UX models.
